A writer once wrote "Through love, the greatest seeds will blossom to be the greatest gifts." Another writer's words read "we are only as great as the love we give." When Bishop's Kid Inc. began, we looked for examples of great production companies to follow the steps that helped them find their success. We began to think of things we had learned such as how to do this or what's the best way to do that but through it all, we finally decided that it's best to follow the best examples of success that God had placed on this earth. Those examples? Bishop Archie Craddox and Pastor Bertha Craddox. There is none better.
This loving union, which celebrated 50 years of marriage, showed us the best example of commitment, honesty, faith, love and most importantly, love. We try to give our customers the best that we have to offer because Bishop and Pastor Craddox have always taught us that you treat people as you would want them to treat you. Their dedication and loyalty to God not only blessed them, but God continued to bless their seeds also. Kenneth G. Craddox, writer and director of several Bishop's Kid Productions, is the youngest child of this union. Other children of this union that hold positions in the company, range from board of directors to musicians to on-stage cast members.
Though Bishop Craddox is no longer with us, his legacy has lived on not only through his children, but through the love he shared with his wife. Overseer Bertha Craddox, who is the Overseer at Praise Temple Ministries in Asbury Park, continues to be a shining example to the Bishop's Kid Inc. family. Her prayers, love and continuous presence at every play lets us know that what we do is making a difference in someone's life. If this is true, we just want to say "Pastor, we make a difference in people's lives because you and Bishop made a difference in ours. We love you."
So, if you ever wondered where the name began, just remember, they love us all and we are all their children. Bishop's Kid Productions, more than a company, we are a family.
